History
The Praga T-9 was a fully tracked heavy artillery tractor developed by the Czechoslovakian company Českomoravská Kolben Danek (CKD) in 1937 for the Turkish army, they originally ordered 66 of them but only received a total of 16 before the Germans occupied Czechoslovakia in 1938 and took over production. A further 55 were built for the Wehrmacht and 5 more for the Slovak army, where they were often used to tow the fearsome German 88mm flak guns.
